Tengah Plantation Loop site to attract 5-7 bidders

Huttons estimates the top bid to be in the $690 psf ppr to $730 psf ppr range.

Real estate expert Huttons believes the Tengah Plantation Loop (EC) site will see healthy interest from developers and will likely receive five to seven bids.

Huttons estimates the top bid to be in the $680 psf ppr to $730 psf ppr range.

“There are less than 300 unsold EC units in the market. Whilst the supply of land for EC development has been stable in meeting demand, developers might want to take note that there will be 3 EC launches in 2025 with 2 in Plantation Close. But this may also present an opportunity for developers to create a mega EC project by amalgamating the two sites subject to approval from the authorities,” Huttons said.

To add, the EC site is close to the future Tengah Park MRT station on the Jurong Region Line.

“There are not many EC sites within walking distance to an MRT station,” Huttons commented.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
