Upcoming projects in OCR to receive high demand: PropNex CEO

This after the healthy response for AMO Residence and Sky Eden.

Future projects in the Outside Central Region (OCR) such as Lentor Modern, The Arden, and Sceneca Residences, will get high demand after the successful launch of AMO Residence and Sky Eden @ Bedok, PropNex Realty, said.

PropNex Realty CEO Ismail Gafoor noted that the launch of AMO Residence in July and Sky Eden @ Bedok led to the sale of about 75% or 118 units of the 158 residential units available at the development on 7 September.

“Pent-up demand drove sales at the project, given that this is only the second major new launch in the OCR this year and the first non-landed new private residential project in 10 years in Bedok Central,” said Gafoor.

Sky Eden @ Bedok also unveiled more options to buyers, specifically the two-bedroom unit types, which tend to sell-out sooner at new launches.

Many buyers said the project offers a comfortable price at $2,100 per square foot for a new mixed-use development in such a convenient location.

WIth this, Gafoor said the “limited unsold stock in the mass market should continue to support demand for new OCR homes."

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
