ZALORA, which bills itself as Asia’s fastest-growing online fashion and beauty retailer has started building a regional software development centre in Singapore early this year.
This would mean that ZALORA's technology roadmap is also planned and implemented out of its HQ in Singapore. This would allow its centre here to have complete control on plans for the webshop platform development.
ZALORA is a Rocket Internet’s fashion & beauty e-commerce venture in South-East Asia. Tengelmann, one of the largest retail groups in Europe, has made a €20 million investment in Zalora also early this year.
