Daily Markets Briefing: STI down 1.05%

DBS led the loses with 1.95%.

The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 35.78 points or 1.05% lower to 3356.73, taking the year-to-date performance to -1.36%.

The top active stocks today were DBS, which declined 1.95%, UOB, which dipped 0.55%, OCBC Bank, which fell 1.38%, Singtel, which slipped 0.93% and Genting Sing, with a 4.69% fall.

The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index fell1.25%, whilst the FTSE ST Small Cap Index slipped 0.43%.
