SGX total market turnover value edged down 4% YoY in June

The bourse’s securities turnover value was at $25.6b in June 2022.

The overall securities market turnover value on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) inched down 4% to $25.6b in June 2022 from $26.8b in the same month last year.

On a monthly basis, the securities market turnover value declined 10.4% from $28.5b in May 2022.

The value of securities daily average was lower by 4% year-on-year from $1.220b in June last year to $1.165b in June 2022. But month-on-month, it fell by 22.6% from  $1.505b in May 2022.

As for exchange-traded funds, the market turnover value was flat YoY from $374m in June 2021 to $373m in the same period this year.

SGX has 661 listed securities in June 2022 from 665 in May 2022.
