Bharti Airtel’s Q3 2025 net profit skyrockets 121.3% YoY to $86m

On a quarterly basis, net profit rose 41.0%.

Bharti Airtel, which is 29% owned by Singtel, reported a 121.3% year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit to $86m (₹5.5b) in Q3 2025 ended 31 December 2024.

On a quarterly basis, net profit rose 41.0% from $60.3m (₹3.9b) in Q2 2025.

All of its businesses reported revenue growth, with its mobile business revenue increasing 21.4% YoY due to the residual impact of tariff flow-through and an improved portfolio.

Meanwhile, revenue from its homes business grew 18.7% YoY, driven by strong customer additions.

In addition, Airtel Business revenue rose 8.7% YoY despite pressures on wholesale data and messaging, whilst its Digital TV segment revenue posted a 1% increase, with a customer base of 15.8 million.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
