COE premiums for small cars slip $1,506 to $50,000

Prices are down by 2.9%.

The final open bidding exercise in September saw COE premium for small cars dropped 2.9% or $1,506 further to $50,000 from two weeks ago.

The largest dip was in COE prices of the open category which crept down $1,688 to $55,201. Premium for cars above 1600CC or 97KW also slumped $1,501 to $55,501.

Both motorcycle and goods vehicle and bus registered further increases from the last bidding. Motorcycle premium ramped up $49 to $6,501, while Category C vehicles inched up $89 to $49,890.
