COE prices down almost across the board

Premiums for Category B fell for nine months in a row.

The latest bidding exercise for Certificate of Entitlement (COE) ending last December 7 show all premiums, except for commercial vehicles and buses, falling,

Premiums for Category B or those above 1,600cc or 97kW power output saw the steepest decline to hit a nine-month low by 12.8% to $46,229 price tag.

Category A or those up to 1,600cc and 97kW fell 5.8% to S$48,000, while Category E dropped 9% to $50,010. These are their lowest prices registered since May this year.

Motorcycles' COE marginally dipped to $6,113 from $6,212 while premiums for commercial vehicles and buses rose 4.5% to $51,209.
