ComfortDelGro to acquire GoBus operator for $17.52m

The acquisition will make the company the third largest inter-city coach operator in Ireland.

ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited will acquire Evobus and Coach Limited, the Irish operator of the GoBus coach service, for $17.52m (€12m).

As of 12 July, ComfortDelGro has already paid $6.424 m (€4.4m) of the $17.52m (€12m), whilst the €7.5 million ($10.95m) will be paid after the acquisition of GoBus’ fleet of 31 buses.

The fleet traverses three inter-city routers: the Galway-Dublin Express, the Cork-Dublin Express and the Galway-Ballina Express.
