Cosco Shipping unit to develop 2nd phase of Jurong Island Logistics Hub

The subsidiary will develop it at Tembusu Crescent.

COSCO Shipping International's unit, Cogent Jurong Island (CJI), has accepted JTC Corporation's lease offer for 25,000 square meters (sqm) of land at Tembusu Crescent, Jurong Island.

The 30-year lease will commence on 1 February 2025, but Cogent Jurong Island (CJI) took possession of the land on 1 December 2024.

CJI plans to develop the second phase of the Jurong Island Logistics Hub (JILH) on the land, which has a maximum gross plot ratio of 2.5.

The first phase of JILH was completed in April 2021.

The first phase spans 3.5 hectares with approximately 87,500 sqm of built-up area, including a 50,000 sqm warehouse and a 14,000 sqm storage yard.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
