Cosco Shipping unit to develop 2nd phase of Jurong Island Logistics Hub
The subsidiary will develop it at Tembusu Crescent.
COSCO Shipping International's unit, Cogent Jurong Island (CJI), has accepted JTC Corporation's lease offer for 25,000 square meters (sqm) of land at Tembusu Crescent, Jurong Island.
The 30-year lease will commence on 1 February 2025, but Cogent Jurong Island (CJI) took possession of the land on 1 December 2024.
CJI plans to develop the second phase of the Jurong Island Logistics Hub (JILH) on the land, which has a maximum gross plot ratio of 2.5.
The first phase of JILH was completed in April 2021.
The first phase spans 3.5 hectares with approximately 87,500 sqm of built-up area, including a 50,000 sqm warehouse and a 14,000 sqm storage yard.
