DHL opens new $14.9m pharma hub in Singapore

It features specialised temperature-controlled zones.

DHL Supply Chain launched a new $14.9m (EUR10m) Pharma Hub in Singapore, a facility for pharmaceutical logistics.

The 8,200-square-metre hub at 8 Jurong Pier features specialised temperature-controlled zones, including ambient (15°C to 25°C) and cold room (2°C to 8°C), ensuring precise storage conditions.

It is Good Manufacturing Practice compliant with advanced infrastructure, including airtight loading docks and dedicated anterooms, that ensures uninterrupted temperature stability.

The facility is part of DHL Group's $746m (EUR500m) investment into Asia Pacific to bolster its Life Sciences and Healthcare infrastructure across all business units.

By 2030, the region's medical market is projected to reach $190b (EUR127b).
