GLS taps Cycle & Carriage for e-vehicle use in logistics and delivery

As part of the collaboration, Cycle & Carriage will supply 10 Citroën ë-Dispatch units to GLS.

FairPrice Group’s logistics arm, Grocery Logistics of Singapore (GLS), will collaborate with Cycle & Carriage Singapore to utilise electric vehicles in its logistics and delivery operations.

Cycle & Carriage Singapore is a member of the Jardine Cycle & Carriage Group.

As a partner to GLS, Cycle & Carriage will be supplying 10 Citroën ë-Dispatch units and charging stations to GLS by the end of November.

The Citroën ë-Dispatch units will form the first pilot fleet of electric vans to be used by GLS.

“GLS continues to do our part for the environment and our latest initiative to augment our fleet with electric vehicles is part of our overall holistic effort to promote a circular and low-carbon economy,” Chief Supply Chain Officer of FairPrice Group Supply Chain, Zeng Qiao Jia, said.
