A final dividend of $0.013 per ordinary share was proposed following the increase.

SingPost Group's net profit soared by 74.5% to $83.1 million for the full year ended on 31 March 2022.

Given the income increase, the Board of Directors has proposed a final dividend of $0.013 per ordinary share. This would bring the annual dividend for the financial year to $0.018 per share.

The company said the net profit growth was buoyed by the higher full-year group revenue of $1.67b, which translates to an 18.6% increase from last year.

Contributing to the higher group revenue was the Logistics segment whcih saw a 61.6%  jump in its full-year revenue.

The Post and Parcel segment, on the other hand, saw its full-year revenue decline by 16.3% due to the continued impact of COVID-19 on air freight capacity.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
