Tesla SG cuts Model Y, Model 3 prices up to 5%

Buyers can have a Rear Wheel Drive Model 3 for $75,990.

Tesla Singapore adjusted the prices for its new Model 3 and Model Y electric cars by up to 5%.

The manufacturer aimed to pass the value from efficient cost savings to its customers and accelerate the country's transition to sustainable energy with affordable electric vehicles.

Tesla slashed the price of the Rear Wheel Drive and Performance Model 3s by 5% to $75,990 and $94,990 from $79,990 and $99,990, respectively.

It also marked down the price of its Rear Wheel Drive Model Y by 4.35% to $87,990 from $91,990 and the Performance Model Y by 4.5% to $105,990 from $110,990.
