Sanli secures subcontract for Tuas Water Reclamation Plant

It was awarded by the PUB for the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System Phase 2 project.

Sanli M&E Engineering, a wholly-owned subsidiary of environmental engineering firm Sanli Environmental, has secured a subcontract from Chip Eng Seng’s subsidiary CES_SDC for the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation control and automation (MEICA) portion of the Tuas Water Reclamation Plant Contract 4A – Biosolids and Digesters, a press release revealed.

The subcontract was awarded by the Public Utilities Board (PUB) to CES_SDC, as part of the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System Phase 2 project.

The works under the main contract from PUB include the construction of biosolids treatment and biogas handling facilities and digesters at Tuas Water Reclamation Plant, the supply and installation of biosolids treatment and biogas handling equipment, and the testing and commissioning of the facilities.

Under the same deal, Sanli M&E will carry out engineering, procurement and construction of MEICA works under the main contract. The subcontract works are expected to be completed in 2025.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
