Keppel Land inks $61.6m JV for office tower in Yangon

The 23-storey tower will open in 2017.

Keppel Land today revealed that it has inked a conditional Joint Venture agreement with Myanmar’s ShweTaung Group to develop a 23-storey office tower in Yangon.

The deal is still subject to approval from the Myanmar Investment Commission. KPLD will hold a 40% stake in the project, and its total investment in the development is estimated to be at $61.6m (US$47.4m).

The development is located in the central business district at the intersection of Shwedagon Pagoda Road and Bogyoke Aung San Road.
