Archisen, FarmByte to build vertical indoor farm in Malaysia

FarmByte will invest $2.4m into Archisen.

Singapore-based agri-tech company Archisen has signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) with FarmByte to establish an automated vertical indoor farm through a joint venture in Johor, Malaysia.

The agreement also states that FarmByte will invest $2.4m (MYR8.2m) into Archisen.

The joint venture will develop vertical farms which will supply produce to Malaysia and Singapore.

FarmByte will provide the farming infrastructure and local market insights, whilst Archisen will supply technical knowledge on indoor farming practices.

Archisen will also facilitate the training for FarmByte’s employees.
