BOC Aviation soars to US$764m in FY23

Earnings per share is at $1.47 (US$1.10).

BOC Aviation Limited recorded a net profit of $1.02b (US$764m) in FY23, growing 38x more than the previous year at $26.8m (US$20m), it said in a local bourse filing.

Net profit for FY23 included $290m (US$217m) worth of net after-tax recoveries of an aircraft in Russia

In the same year, total revenues and other income increased 7% YoY to $3.34b (US$2.5b).

The board recommended a final dividend of $0.36 (US$0.27) per share, bringing the total dividend for FY23 to $0.52 (US$0.39) per share, calculated at 35% of net profit after tax.

The final dividend per share is subject to approval at the annual general meeting (AGM) to be held on 30 May 2024.
