Singapore cargo hub to rise under Changi–SF Group five-year pact

The MoU positions Changi as SF’s first overseas hub, expanding express cargo and regional air logistics network across Asia-Pacific.

Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Shenzhen S.F. Taisen Holding (SF) have signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to position Changi Airport as SF’s first overseas hub, according to a joint statement.

The partnership will see Changi Airport supporting SF’s air logistics expansion across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Oceania, with a focus on strengthening express cargo capacity and regional connectivity.

Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate on developing Singapore’s role as an air logistics hub, leveraging Changi Airport’s position as a consolidation and transshipment point for regional and international cargo flows.

SF Airlines, a subsidiary of SF Group, currently operates freighter services to Singapore with the MoU expected to support the gradual expansion of SF’s network at Changi Airport.

The agreement comes as both parties look to tap growth in air trade flows within Asia-Pacific and between the region and global markets.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
