Singapore Business Review compiled a list of top 10 billionaires in Singapore with updated figures obtained from consultancy firm Wealth-X. To better gauge how much the billionaires’ wealth grew over the last year, the data were compared with Forbes’ estimates in 2014 as shown in its annual list of Singapore’s 50 richest. The total amount of wealth estimated by Wealth-X for the 10 richest is 20% lower than the US$40.6 billion reported by Forbes.

Paint maker Goh Cheng Liang more than doubled his wealth to US$8.2 billion but all others in the list registered decline in net worth.
