Largest interconnected co-working space in Singapore is coming

They are opening a space at the UIC Building.

JustCo at UIC Building is the fourth co-working space from JustCo in Singapore, which describes itself as having the largest co-working community in the city.

“JustCo at UIC Building will be the largest interconnected coworking space in Singapore,” says Wan Sing Kong, founder and CEO, JustCo.

The space will be spread over two floors of the stylishly designed UIC Building and sitting right on the pulse of Singapore's Marina Bay Financial District. JustCo notes that the workspace has easy access to 3 MRT lines and is surrounded by endless cafes, bars and shops including Asia Square Food Garden and the iconic Lau Pa Sat.

There will be three very new features in the space, says Kong. First, the JustCo Venture Lab, which will be a dedicated area offering curated partnerships to early stage businesses like fin tech.

There will also be two dedicated garage collaboration spaces. “These will be Silicon Valley style project spaces for teams to brainstorm, develop and share their ideas and products, and test out prototypes,” says Kong. Lastly, there will be a ‘transformer room,’ a special adaptable area that can be tailored to suit special activities.

“Now that JustCo has four spaces across the city, we can offer a large and diverse community for entrepreneurs and businesses to easily tap into and grow their businesses,” says Kong.

“Until this year Singapore has only had smaller coworking players with one location. This latest expansion is set to be a significant move in the coworking market in Singapore and give JustCo a unrivalled position,” he continues.

JustCo, which bills itself as Singapore's largest co-working space provider, will soon showcase its famous coworking design and style in Singapore’s newest iconic building, Marina One, a mixed-use development bounded by Marina Way and Straits View. Well-known neighbors include Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, among others.

“This is the first time coworking will be available in one of Singapore’s most prestigious buildings meaning a new stage for coworking in the city,” says Kong. “Until now coworking spaces have been confined to the fringes of the CBD or further afield.”

Kong says this opens the opportunity for entrepreneurs and start-ups to move into this location and rub shoulders with business giants like Facebook. “Plus it enables the leading corporates to delve into coworking without having to compromise their location,” he says.

Marina One has been projected to be the one of the most stylish buildings in Singapore and it’s understood that aside from Facebook, consultancy firm PwC and Swiss private bank Julius Baer have already secured spaces, meaning JustCo will be in good company.

Aimed at being a premium destination to live, work and play, it’s an impressive proposition - it will be the only development in Singapore to have a garden within, including 13 waterfalls.

JustCo will be carrying over their special brand of stylish design and creative layout to Marina One due to open in May 2017.
