ST Engineering to deploy its smart water solution for Aegea in Brazil

It is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2024.

ST Engineering has announced that its Urban Solutions business will be deploying its smart water platform for Aegea, one of Brazil’s largest private sanitation companies.

The smart water platform will digitally integrate water meter infrastructure across Aegea’s concessions to improve water management operational efficiency, enable data-driven water optimisation, and reduce non-revenue water.

Built on a cloud-based meter data management system that collects, stores, and manages data, the water meter-agnostic smart water platform will enable automated, end-to-end monitoring and control of Aegea’s entire water metering infrastructure.

The platform will also deliver real-time alerts, water consumption trend analysis, and water optimisation insights.

This project adds to ST Engineering’s record of implementing over 800 smart city projects in more than 150 cities worldwide.

The platform is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2024.
