Amtek Engineering appoints Ang Tong Huat as Group Chief Operating Officer

He will be supervising the overall operations for the Precision Engineering Division.

The Board of Amtek Engineering announced the appointment of Ang Tong Huat as Group Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Ang, currently the President of the Precision Engineering Division, will be promoted to Group Chief Operating Officer, Precision Engineering Division with effect from 1 July 2012. The Nominating Committee has considered Mr. Ang's contributions and experience, and had recommended his promotion to the Board for approval.

Mr. Ang, 47, will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations for the Precision Engineering Division, according to an Amtek Engineering report.

He has been the President, China Operations of Amtek Engineering Ltd from 2011 to present. Prior to this, he was President, Europe Operations of Amtek Engineering from 2008 to 2011 and Country General Manager and Vice President of China Operations of GES International Limited from 2003 to 2008.
