CrimsonLogic honoured at SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025

The OFOQ2 National Single Window and Customs Management System revolutionises Bahrain’s logistics sector with seamless connectivity and digital transformation.

CrimsonLogic, a leading global technology company in port operations and global trade facilitation, has been recognised at the SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025 in the Connectivity - Logistics category for its OFOQ2 system, which revolutionised the company’s offerings for National Single Window and Customs Management System.

The company secured the contract with Bahrain Customs Affair (BCA). This initiative supports His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision to drive economic growth, create opportunities, and enhance Bahrain's global competitiveness, aligning with the Bahrain Customs Affairs Economic Recovery Plan.

Designed as the nation’s next-generation trade facilitation platform, OFOQ2 integrates 23 government agencies and multiple private-sector stakeholders into a single digital ecosystem.
This integration enables frictionless cross-border trade and reduces paperwork, manual intervention, and inefficiencies for government agencies and private entities.

“It will enable Bahrain Customs Affairs (BCA) to streamline government procedures, enhance efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation in trade and logistics,” said Mr Lawrence Ng, CEO of CrimsonLogic.

The system includes a suite of modules such as Single Window for centralised trade processing, Customs Management System for real-time trade compliance, E-Maritime Single Window for seamless port operations, Integrated Risk Management to enhance security and trade facilitation, Trade Visualization for data-driven decision-making, and Permits & Licenses for end-to-end regulatory approvals.

One of the most notable innovations of the OFOQ2 system is the integration of the Automatic Duties Transfer (ADT) system amongst the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This feature streamlines the process of duty transfers, significantly improving regional trade efficiency.

Additionally, the platform introduces a single submission document feature, which automatically generates Other Government Agency (OGA) permits based on the submitted declaration.

These innovations also ensure that Bahrain’s trade processes align with international standards set by organisations like the World Customs Organization (WCO), UNCEFACT, WTO, ICC, and IATA.

The successful rollout of OFOQ2 has delivered unparalleled efficiency in customs operations.

Mr Ng added, “Our unique approach and product enabled Bahrain Customs Affairs (BCA) to enhance their capabilities significantly. By supporting their team on the Trade Facilitation Platform and facilitating extensive, structured expertise sharing, we strengthened their skills, ensured high-quality deliverables, and reduced implementation costs.”

The project’s success also helped CrimsonLogic secure another prestigious project with Abu Dhabi Customs.

Looking ahead, CrimsonLogic plans to leverage OFOQ2’s success to drive market expansion across the Middle East and beyond. The platform’s scalability and adaptability make it a strategic solution for countries seeking digital trade transformation, whilst ensuring compliance with international regulations.

By setting new industry benchmarks in trade facilitation, CrimsonLogic has cemented its reputation as a pioneer in global trade technology and made OFOQ2 a model for future digital customs solutions worldwide.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
