London School of Business and Finance wins SBR International Business Awards 2024

It has been able to establish itself as a preferred educational destination through prioritising value creation.

The Singapore campus of the private business school London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) took home the win in the Education category at the recently held SBR International Business Awards 2024 for the series of transformational initiatives it has implemented to propel them towards student satisfaction and growth.

This series of initiatives comes amidst its principal goal of establishing the campus as the preferred educational destination by prioritising value creation for its students, which will then serve as a driver for continuous innovation.

Under this framework, LSBF has focused on ensuring positive student outcomes to enhance its brand reputation. It has invested in the latest technologies and tools like Canvas and teaching methods, providing students with access to career services, launching initiatives like Employment Assurance and creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.

It has also established partnerships with Manchester Metropolitan University, UK and the University of Law, UK, and is in advanced conversations with leading universities in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand to further augment its partnerships. At the same time, LSBF has expanded its footprint in Asia and successfully established a new campus in Malaysia, as part of its expansion strategy.

Moreover, the school has also scaled up the range of its industry-specific products and has developed an online portfolio of programmes. It has launched online learning platform LSBFx in the process, extending the brand’s reach and creating additional revenue streams.

On the human resource (HR) side, LSBF is also prioritising the recruitment, development, and empowerment of its staff for competency and accountability. It has also transformed its HR systems by digitising and automating various processes, resulting in improved efficiency, reduced paperwork, streamlined workflows, and empowered staff with self-service capabilities.

Within two years, LSBF has made huge progress in innovating and improving student outcomes. Its transformational strategies enabled it to achieve a YoY revenue growth of over 60%.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
