EdgePoint Infrastructure has achieved remarkable milestones in transforming digital infrastructure. First, they successfully implemented 5G coverage at the UNESCO World Heritage Site in George Town, Penang, supporting the Digital Penang initiative whilst meticulously adhering to stringent World Heritage urban planning guidelines, preserving the site's unique character.

Second, EdgePoint forged strategic partnerships with IoT leaders Pessl and Xperanti, deploying smart solutions that utilise IoT sensors for accurate data collection and faster decision-making. These innovations enable smart parking applications and climate monitoring systems, enhancing resource utilisation and environmental quality. 

Third, their collaboration with myNEWS Holdings Bhd led to the deployment of small cell solutions within creatively designed signboards at retail outlets nationwide, significantly boosting capacity and coverage, thereby offering Malaysians a seamless digital retail experience.

Mr. Dang Tai Luk, Group Chief Executive Officer of myNEWS Holdings Bhd, lauded the partnership with EdgePoint, noting, "By enhancing connectivity across our myNEWS and CU outlets all over Malaysia, we can improve our customers' experience, from the moment they enter our outlets to the payment and exit point."

EdgePoint Infrastructure has made significant strides in expanding its reach and services. EdgePoint Towers, the Malaysian entity for EdgePoint recently announced 1500 sites in its portfolio and is now at the forefront of meeting the telecom infrastructure needs of mobile network operators throughout Malaysia as the second largest tower company in the country. 

EdgePoint is also actively expanding its presence in Indonesia. Centratama, the company’s Indonesian entity, comprises a portfolio of over 10,000 sites and is recognised as one of the leading tower infrastructure companies in the country. 

EdgePoint is also present in the Philippines, with EdgePoint Philippines just closing its 2800 site in the country, making them one of the top 3 tower companies in the country.

For these efforts and the new technologies introduced to the market, EdgePoint has claimed the prestigious Team of the Year accolade under the Telecommunications category at the SBR Management Excellence Awards.
