Bruemar Pork takes out the Asian Export Award for fresh food

Singapore Business Review and Hong Kong Business magazines acknowledged Asia's leading export companies and their trailblazing products and services in the recently concluded Asian Export Awards 2018.
On its inaugural year, the Asian Export Awards lauds exceptional products and services that have remarkably enhanced a company's business in the regional export scene.
This pinnacle event for Asia's best exporters is open to two divisions—the large corporate for big companies with group turnover of over $300m and the local champion for small or medium-sized enterprises.
BE Campbell Pty Ltd brought home the Asian Export Award for fresh food under the local champion category.
BE Campbell Pty Ltd takes delight in having introduced its Bruemar Pork range into supermarkets across Asia. Named after the company’s founders, Bruce and Marie Campbell, the Bruemar Pork Range is said to be Asia’s first retail ready value added pork range. It was developed and shared with the world through industry and consumer insights.

The pork products are presented in a premium aqueous coated sleeve which also communicates the brand story to the consumer. The product itself is in black film Darfresh packaging, not only providing a dramatic premium look on shelf but also providing maximum shelf life.
Whilst the product itself is premium, the price on shelf is very affordable. The products are around 400g net weight, providing an providing a delicious, convenient and economic dinner solution for time-constrained consumers. The range has seen great success over multiple countries in the region, resulting on the firm eyeing to seal continued expansion of its market presence and product offerings.

BE Campbell is a family owned and operated Australian company founded in 1969. It has 10 family members employed in its business, transforming it into a family-cultured firm in terms of dealing with suppliers, staff and customers.

The Asian Export Awards 2018, co-presented by Singapore Business Review and Hong Kong Business magazines, was held on November 20 at the Conrad Centennial Singapore.
This year's nominations were judged by a panel consisting of Vikas Sharma, Corporate Finance Director at Deloitte Southeast Asia; Marc Philip, Senior Partner, South East Asia Operations Consulting Leader & Singapore Management at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (Singapore) Pte Ltd; Kuntha Chelvanathan, Partner Supply Chain and Operations at Ernst & Young Advisory Pte. Ltd.; and Chong Cheng Yuan, Partner & Industry Lead, Industrial Manufacturing at RSM.
