Nanyang Old Coffee wins Designed in Singapore Awards - Beverage

They aim to introduce Singapore's home brew to the global stage.

Singapore Business Review lauded the most exceptional products in Singapore that prove to be industry game changers in the recently concluded Made in Singapore and Designed in Singapore Awards.

On its inaugural year, the Made in Singapore and Designed in Singapore awards programmes recognises products manufactured in Singapore and products conceptualised in Singapore but manufactured outside the country.

Singapore Old Cofee of Nanyang Old Coffe Pte Ltd won the Designed in Singapore award under the beverage category. The premium premix coffee product is specially formulated to taste like Singapore’s traditional home brew that not only offers a taste of home but also introduce Singapore’s brewed offerings to the rest of the world. Their representative, Lim Eng Lam, received the award at the gala dinner held on December 6 at Conrad Centennial Singapore.

This year’s winners were judged by Choo Eng Chuan, EY Asean Markets Leader and Partner at Ernst & Young Solutions LLP; Richard Loi, partner SEA Consumer & Industrial Products Industry Audit & Assurance Leader at Deloitte & Touche LLP; Toh Kim Teck, assurance partner at Foo Kon Tan LLP; Henry Tan, managing director at NEXIA TS; and Tan Chee Tyan, partner at Mazars LLP.
