Indonesia inflation edged up to 4.6%

But the good news is that itisn't as alarming as expected, said analyst.

According to OCBC, August headline inflation came in as expected at 4.6% yoy – not at an alarming level as yet, even if this is slightly higher than the previous month’s. Meanwhile, trade deficit narrowed to USD 0.2bn in July from a record USD 1.3bn in June, as import growth came in surprisingly low at a mere 0.75% yoy.
