Seed-stage deals drive 70.9% of Singapore startup funding in April

Total seed funding reaches $28.2m, led by Simple Chain’s $15m round, according to Tracxn data. 

Seed-stage deals accounted for 71% of total startup funding in Singapore for the month of April, according to market intelligence platform Tracxn.

Seed-stage funding ended at $28.2m of total amount spent, followed by late-stage funding at $7.8m or 19.7%, whilst early-stage deals stood at $3.7m or 9.3% of the total funding.

In comparison, March 2026 recorded higher early and late-stage deals at $298.2m and $300m, respectively. Seed stage funding during the month reached $68.9m.

April’s total was recorded higher than April 2025, when startups raised $14.4m in seed-stage funding,

The largest deals during the month were Simple Chain’s $15m round, followed by Biobot Surgical at $7.8m, and Atlas at $6m.
