BUDGET 2025: S$800 CDC vouchers for households
Families with children aged 12 and younger will get $500 in LifeSG Credit for each child.
Singapore will give out S$800 in CDC vouchers to Singaporean households over the next twelve months and is providing more credit to support the youth.
The first S$500 will be given out in May 2025, whilst the remaining $300 will be given out in January 2026, said Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in his Budget 2025 speech, 18 February.
The government is also providing additional U-Save rebates of up to $760 for eligible HDB households, Wong said, to be used for their utilities.
Additionally, the government is giving credit to families with children as well as Singaporeans aged 13 to 20 years old.
Families with children aged 12 and below in 2025 will be given $500 in LifeSG Credit for each Singaporean child.
Every Singaporean aged 13 to 20 years old, will receive a $500 top-up to their EduSave Account or PSEA. The money can be used for approved education-related expenses, Wong said.
