More than 900,000 HDB households to get GSTV U-save vouchers, S&CC rebates

The payout will start in April 2023.

The government announced that 950,000 households living in HDB flats will receive GST vouchers U-Save rebates and GSTV S&CC rebates this month.

In a statement, the government said households will also get about $720m in -Save and S&CC rebates in FY2023.

In FY2023, qualified households will receive double their regular U-Save.

"This amounts to about eight to 10 months’ worth of utility bills for the average household living in 1- and 2-room HDB flats, and about 4 to 6 months’ worth of utility bills for the average household living in 3- and 4-room HDB flats," read the statement.

Qualified households will also receive GSTV – S&CC rebates to offset between 1.5 and 3.5 months of their S&CC each year, the government said.

These rebates are disbursed in April, July, October, and January. The GSTV – S&CC rebates will be credited directly into households’ S&CC accounts managed by their respective Town Councils.
