Singapore can tide through, says DPM

Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam described Singapore’s unemployment rate as “extremely” low.

OCBC Treasury Research noted:

DPM Tharman Shanmugaratnam commented that Singapore needs to stay competitive and a medium to long term view of the economy is needed to stay ahead. He added that Singapore can tide through the short-term problems as the unemployment rate is “extremely” low.
