Energy sector to lead 2025 bonuses with firms pledging one month or more

It is followed by the transport, logistics, and automotive sector (98%) and the communication services sector (94%).

Employers in the energy and utilities sector are set to lead in bonus distribution for 2025, with 100% of those surveyed planning to give at least one month or more, according to ManpowerGroup.

This is followed by the transport, logistics, and automotive sectors (98%), where 91% of employers plan to increase salaries by 3% or more in 2024/2025, and the communication services sector (94%).

The communication services sector (90%) and the healthcare and life sciences sector (87%) also rank highly.

Overall, 89% of employers in Singapore intend to give bonuses averaging more than one month, up from 84% in the previous year.

In terms of salary increments, the transport, logistics, and automotive sector stands out, with 91% of employers planning salary increases of 3% or more, the highest among all sectors.
