Khor Poh Hwa appointed chairman of Keppel Infrastructure Trust

He succeeds Daniel Ee, who is retiring after the upcoming Annual General Meeting.

Keppel Infrastructure Fund Management Pte Ltd (KIFM), trustee-manager of Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT), has appointed Khor Poh Hwa as chairman of the board.

He will succeed Daniel Cuthbert Ee Hock Huat, who will retire following KIT’s annual general meeting on 29 April 2026.

Khor is currently an independent director and a member of the Nominating and Remuneration Committee and Investment Committee of the trustee-manager.

He previously served as KIFM’s first Chairman from 2010 to 2015.

Khor spent 23 years with Singapore’s Public Works Department (PWD). He was seconded to the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park from 1995 to 1997 as the Deputy CEO of the Suzhou Industrial Park Development Co. Ltd.

On returning, he became the first CEO of the corporatised PWD until 2003 and continued as senior advisor until 2008.

Khor also served on the boards of several Keppel entities and acted as an advisor for township and infrastructure development.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the then University of Singapore in 1975, and a Master of Science (Civil Engineering) from the National University of Singapore.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
