DBS launches largest banking API platform

155 APIs were rolled out today.

DBS launched a banking application programming interface (API) developer platform, DBS Developers, said to be the largest in the world.

According to a press release, there were 155 APIs at launch for Singapore across more than 20 categories such as fund transfers, rewards, and fintech.

DBS said it will add more categories upon demand.

Firms such as AIG, McDonald’s, MSIG, PropertyGuru, as well as startups like Activpass, FoodPanda, Homage, and soCash have already hopped onto the platform to develop products.

Interested clients will be given tools to connect in a development sandbox upon registration to the platform.
