Top 5 cryptocurrencies in Singapore for October

One of the cryptocurrencies is the popular culture meme currency Dogecoin.

Finder, an independent comparison platform, released its Cryptocurrency Adoption Index revealing that Singapore has the sixth-highest rate of cryptocurrency ownership at 15.6%.

This was followed by India (15.4%) and the Philippines (13.3%).

Singapore's rate is well ahead of the global average of 11.4%.

Of the roughly one in 7 adults in Singapore who own some form of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is the most popular coin for Singaporeans at 66.7%, followed by Ethereum (52.4%), Cardano (23%), Binance Coin (17.6%), and Dogecoin (11.3%).

Out of the 985 Singaporean crypto investors, 55.1% are males, and 44.9% are females.

Finder surveyed 41,645 individuals across 22 countries to analyse cryptocurrency adoption rates, investment diversification and investor demographics. Google conducted all the surveys in all territories except Australia, where Qualtrics/SAP conducted it.
