MoneyMax expects stronger H1 profit on pawnbroking growth
Its FY2025 net profit stood at $71.7m, up 87.6% YoY.
MoneyMax Financial Services Ltd. expects its net profit for the first half of the year to improve significantly from a year earlier, supported by stronger performance from its pawnbroking segment.
The segment recorded higher interest income from the sustained growth of pledged loan receivables, the group said in a bourse filing dated 21 July.
Meanwhile, it added that its retail and trading segment for gold and luxury items also benefited from higher revenue and improved gross profit margins.
MoneyMax reported profit attributable to owners of $71.7m for the year ended 31 December 2025, up 87.6% from $38.2m in the previous year. It transferred its listing to the Mainboard on 6 May.
The group said it is finalising its unaudited results and expects to release them on or around 11 August.
