F&B sales growth moderates to 13.9% in December 

In November, F&B sales grew 25.0% YoY.

Food and beverage (F&B) sales grew slower in December, jumping 13.9% YoY from a 25.0% YoY increase in November. Sales value clocked in at $1.0b.

Of the total sales value, 22.8% was from online sales.

According to the Department of Statistics Singapore (Singstat), all F&B services industries recorded year-on-year increases in sales in December 2022.

Amongst industries, Food Caterers recorded the largest increase, soaring 115.8% YoY, followed by Fast Food Outlets, which saw a 14.6% jump in sales.

Sales of Restaurants and Cafes, Food Courts & Other Eating Places also rose in December by 5.5% and 10.5%, respectively.
