Jumbo Group’s H1 earnings falls 11.2% YoY

The decline was due to heightened competition and weak consumer confidence in China.

Jumbo Group’s profit attributable to the owners of the parent fell 11.2% year-on-year (YoY) to $7.9m in H1 2025.

The decline was due to heightened competition in the local food and beverage (F&B) sector as well as weak consumer confidence in China.

In addition, the cost of sales and operating expenses increased.

Revenue for the period rose 0.3% to $97.3m, mainly driven by the group’s Korea operations.

The board declared a tax-exempt (one-tier) interim cash dividend of $0.005 per ordinary share.
