10 most visited public attractions in Singapore

One has suffered more than a quarter slump in visitorship.

Singapore's international visitor arrivals has grown 9.8% to 14.5 million in 2012 and most of them probably have not missed the following 10 major attractions of the city.

River Safari is not included in thelist as it has just officially opened on April 3 this year. Almost 1,500 visitors converged on the new $160m wildlife park during the opening.

The data were obtained from Singapore Department of Statistics.

Visitorship to the museums is counted using an automatic tracking system PCATS) whereby tracking devices are fixed at all the entrances to the museums. All visitors who access the museum premises are captured in the count, regardless of whether the entries are based on paid admissions or those not requiring payment.
