Total international visitor arrivals grew by 2.3% to reach the 16.9 million milestone.
Singapore’s international visitor arrivals grew by 2.3% to reach 16.9 million in 2025, with Mainland China continuing to lead as the largest source market at 3.10 million arrivals, up 1% from last year.
Indonesia ranked second with 2.44 million arrivals, though the market slipped 2% from a year earlier, according to the Singapore Tourism Board’s report on tourism receipts.
Malaysia and Australia followed close behind with 1.28 million and 1.27 million arrivals respectively, and both markets grew 8% from last year.
In the next tier, the Philippines brought 726,000 arrivals which fell 7% from last year, whilst the US rose 4% to 717,000. Japan had 628,000 arrivals, recording the fastest growth at 10%.
The UK and South Korea both recorded 587,000 arrivals, representing a 1% rise and a 1% decline respectively, underscoring uneven momentum across Singapore’s leading visitor markets.
The arrivals mix supported strong tourism spending during the year, with Singapore’s tourism receipts reaching $23.9b in the first nine months of 2025, a 6.5% increase from 2024, the Singapore Tourism Board said.
Sightseeing, entertainment and gaming, and food and beverage were amongst the key contributors to receipts growth, reflecting broad-based visitor spending despite uneven arrival trends across markets.
