What are Singaporeans' top travel destinations for 2023?

Most of them travel for sightseeing and shopping.

Singaporeans are most likely to visit countries in Southeast Asia on their next trip, according to a joint survey by Milieu and Yahoo.

Based on the survey more than half of Singaporeans who have previously travelled overseas at the start of 2023 plan to fly again in the next three months.

Apart from Southeast Asia (53%), most Singaporeans also want to visit East Asia (40%), Australia/New Zealand (15%), Europe (13%), and the Middle East (2%).

According to the survey, Singaporeans’ top priority in the places they’ll visit next is to do outdoor activities or sightseeing, followed by shopping (52%).

Singaporeans are also interested in immersing in the arts, history, and culture of the countries they plan to visit (17%) and undergoing culinary workshops (17%).

On their next trip, Singaporeans also plan to stick to their budget instead of spending however much or little they want.
