AI to boost ideas and creativity for 80% of Singapore firms

A ManpowerGroup survey found over 75% of SG firms expect AI to assist problem solving and project management.

Ideas and creativity are the skill areas most likely to be augmented by artificial intelligence (AI) in Singapore, cited by 80% of employers, according to the ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey 2Q 2026.

The survey, which examines how AI is expected to enhance workplace skills over the next 12 months, also found that problem solving follows at 77%, project management at 76%, training at 75%, and customer service at 73%.

Technical expertise and stategic thinking were highlighted by 71% of respondents, whilst communication was cited by 69%.

Team management and sales skills are expected to be enhanced for 66% and 64% of employers, respectively.

Ethical judgement was identified as the skill least likely to be augmented by AI, noted by 51% of respondents.
