
COTD: 8 in 10 employers plan salary hikes of 3% or more in 2025
Majority plan to increase salaries by 3%-5%.
Eight in 10 employers in Singapore plan to increase salaries by 3% or more in 2025, according to Manpower Group's 2024/2025 Singapore Salary and Bonus Plans report.

The report found that the majority (56%) of employers planning salary increases aim to raise them by 3% to 5%.
However, this percentage dipped slightly compared to last year (56% vs. 57%).
Medium-sized companies, those with 50-249 employees, were the most likely (62%) to implement a 3%-5% salary increase, followed by micro-sized companies (60%).
Meanwhile, the proportion of employers planning to raise salaries by 5% to 7% increased from 19% to 20%, and those planning increases of 7% or more rose from 3% to 6%.
Very large companies with 1,000-4,999 employees were the most likely to raise salaries by 7% or more, at 10%.
