And selected Caltex stations to offer fast electric vehicle charging.

From ChannelNewsAsia:

Employment agency Adecco Personnel has been appointed to help local job seekers secure opportunities under the SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package, said the Manpower Ministry (MOM) and Workforce Singapore (WSG) on 22 March.

Adecco is the first such SGUnited Jobs and Skills placement partner, and the appointment will be for one year, said MOM and WSG in a press release.

"With this appointment, local job seekers who require more specialised assistance with their job search will now have an additional avenue to access professional career matching services and opportunities, catered to their skills and aspirations," said the release.

Under the placement partners initiative, selected employment agencies that "have demonstrated the ability to hire fairly" will be appointed to help local jobseekers secure opportunities under the SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package, said MOM and WSG.

This complements the government's existing job matching efforts and increases overall placement capacity, they said.

From ChannelNewsAsia:

Four Caltex service stations will soon offer fast charging for electric vehicles, in a partnership between SP Group and Chevron Singapore.

The four stations — at 3700 Yishun Ring Road, 78 Changi Road, 100 Jurong West Avenue 1, and 130 Dunearn Road –— will have the chargers installed by the second quarter of this year.

"These Caltex service stations will be equipped with 50 kW direct current (DC) fast chargers that can charge up an EV in 30 minutes, versus a few hours required by the more commonly available alternating current chargers," SP Group and Chevron said in a news release.

Three service stations will be equipped with one 50 kW DC fast charger. The fourth, at Changi, will have two 50 kW DC points that will allow charging up to a speed of 100 kW, provided only one car is using the charging points.

The charging service will be incorporated into the SP Utilities mobile app.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
