Monthly income of polytechnic graduates increases to $2,900 in 2024

More than eight in 10 graduates were employed within six months of graduation.

The median gross monthly salary of polytechnic graduates in full-time employment increased to $2,900 from $2,800 in 2024, according to the Polytechnic Graduate Employment Survey.

The median gross monthly salary of graduates from Health Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Information and Digital Technologies were the highest amongst all programs.

The survey also found that 87.5% of graduates were employed within six months of graduation or after completing full-time National Service, despite slower employment growth last year.

Additionally, 54.6% of 5,769 graduates were in full-time permanent employment, 27% were in part‐time employment, and 2.9% had either accepted a job offer or were actively starting a business venture.
