Singapore workforce sees surge in AI adoption: report

One in 117 job postings in Singapore mentions GenAI.

Singaporean employers are leading the GenAI adoption scene with 1 in every 117 job postings on Indeed mentioning GenAI including terms like ChatGPT, Indeed reported.

Indeed revealed a 5.9% increase in these postings from Singapore compared to a year ago, putting it ahead of Spain, Ireland, and Canada.

GenAI is mostly mentioned in data analytics roles (9.7%), followed by medical information (3.3%), architecture (3.3%), scientific research (3.2%), and software development (2.7%).

On the flip side, 38% of occupational sectors in Singapore still do not have any job postings mentioning GenAI.
