AI tops 2026 growth tactic for 82% of Singapore sales teams

Survey shows widespread adoption across sales leaders.

Singapore sales teams have named artificial intelligence (AI) a top tactic to drive growth in 2026, with 82% of local sales leaders with agents saying they are critical for meeting business demands, according to Salesforce’s report.

The findings are based on a double-anonymous survey of more than 4,000 sales professionals conducted between August and September 2025, including 100 respondents in Singapore.

The survey found that 80% of Singapore sales organisations already use AI for sales tasks such as prospecting, forecasting, lead scoring and drafting emails, indicating that AI adoption is already widespread ahead of 2026 planning.

Use of AI agents is associated with stronger outcomes, with top-performing sellers globally 1.7 times more likely to use prospecting AI agents than underperformers, the survey showed.

Amongst Singapore sellers using AI agents, respondents expect prospect research time to fall by 32% and email drafting time to decline by 34%.

“Agentic AI is the strategic lever that allows businesses to offload time-consuming administrative tasks and empower sales teams to focus on quality sales conversations that truly drive business growth and sharpen competitive advantage in the region,” said Paul Carvouni, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Salesforce ASEAN.
