The company launched its first AI Global Competency Centre in Singapore.
Alibaba Cloud has unveiled new infrastructure investments, an artificial intelligence competency centre, advanced cloud and AI technologies, and research findings on green AI adoption to mark its 10th anniversary in Singapore.
The group launched its third data centre in Malaysia on 1 July, with plans to open its second data centre in the Philippines in October this year.
The expansions build on earlier infrastructure investments in Thailand, Mexico, and South Korea, announced in the first half of 2025.
The company also launched its first AI Global Competency Centre in Singapore, aiming to accelerate AI adoption by supporting enterprises of all sizes.
The centre will support over 5,000 businesses and 100,000 developers, offering access to advanced AI models, powerful computing resources, and an AI Innovation Lab.
Moreover, new cloud products include Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service products and a new "One Channel For AI" capability to streamline multimodal data preparation.
Alibaba Cloud’s sustainability platform, Energy Expert, also introduced an AI-driven ESG Reporting solution that streamlines report generation through guided structuring, automated content creation, and actionable insights.
